A Bird in the Hand is Poppy Sweeting's seventh relationship quest in Hogwarts Legacy.
Objectives[]
"Dorran suspects he knows where the Snidgets were hidden. Poppy and I are meeting him southwest of Brocburrow to investigate it."
- Meet Poppy southwest of Brocburrow
"I met Poppy at the ruins that bore the same symbol as the one the Mooncalves left behind. She says Dorran is waiting for us ahead. Best to meet with him now."
- Talk to Dorran
"We'll need to solve this puzzle to get inside."
- Figure out how to enter the ruins
"We were able to solve the puzzle to enter the Gilded Perch. Now to find those Snidgets."
- Search for the Snidgets
"The Poacher Pack muist have been tracking us this whole time. We need to deal with them as swiftly as possible."
- Defeat the Poachers
"We were able to dispatch the Poacher Pack with the aid of Dorran and Elek. Is it possible the Snidgets are just beyond this door?"
- Unlock the doors to the Snidget Sanctuary
Conclusion[]
"Poppy, Dorran, and I successfully found the last remaining Snidgets and were able to keep them out of poacher hands. The Snidgets will remain under the watchful care of the centaurs until they can fend for themselves."
Notes[]
- A number of spiders spawn near the puzzle, including Venomous Matriarch, Venomous Shooter, and Venomous Scurriour.
- When the Scholars' Moonstone is placed in the center column, lights atop the two movable columns shine on the center column, casting two shadows.
- To solve the puzzle, the two pillars must be moved using Accio so that the shadows match the image engraved on the door. Use the symbols to find where the shadows should point, and move the pillars to the opposite side of the circular track.
- Inside the Gilded Perch, there is another puzzle with metal cubes that must be found, moved onto the corresponding metal plates, and activated with Glacius and Incendio.
