Agabus Philbert is a character in Hogwarts Legacy.
Biography[]
Agabus lived in Hogsmeade with his wife, Dulcibella. Before Dulcibella passed away, she had finished a small book of poetry and as a surprise for her birthday, Agabus had it bound and plated in gold. Sadly, she passed on before he could gift it to her.
Later on, having grown tired of Victor Rookwood's gang terrorizing everyone, Agabus spoke out against them. This didn't go unanswered and Rookwood's second-in-command, Theophilus Harlow, paid Agabus a "visit", freezing Agabus while he rifled around the house, eventually finding the gold plated book and taking off with it.
His friends, the Bickles, had hoped he'd come forward with what happened to him to try and get Ruth Singer to deal with the gang, but afraid for his life, Agabus refused. Shortly after, Harlow killed Mr. Bickle.
