Biography[]
Even though Augustus is rather welcoming, he is very protective over his daughter, Rosie, to the point she felt the need to keep it a secret that she was dating his assistant, Otto Dibble, as the young couple knew her father would disapprove of them and likely fire Otto. Thus, Augustus didn't even realize Rosie and Otto were not only dating but had been engaged for 6 months until the two eloped and left behind a note explaining their relationship before going on their honeymoon.
