Bardolph Beaumont was a local who lived in Upper Hogsfield in Hogwarts Legacy.
Biography[]
Bardolph and his sister, Claire, grew up in Upper Hogsfield. However, in the late 18th century (some time in 1890), as Ranrok's Loyalists grew bolder, they began to threaten and attack the people in the area, including Bardolph when he refused to hand over a day's worth of scavenged herbs for his and his sister's shop. After he had recovered and returned home from St. Mungo's, he informed Claire he was going out to seek Victor Rookwood's advice, wanting revenge and believing Rookwood's lot would teach him the type of magic he needed to protect their hamlet.
While Bardolph did make contact with the Ashwinders and started to learn and use dark magic, he couldn't stop himself from being visibly horrified by some of the things they did, namely when they made an inferius. With the gang already suspicious of him, likely believing Bardolph was a spy, Bardolph realised he'd have to try and convince them otherwise. However, this did not work as a short time later, Bardolph himself was killed and turned into an inferius.
