Bragbor was a famed goblin known for his metalwork.
Biography[]
Bragbor was well known for his metalwork and as such, was reached out to by Professor Isidora Morganach to see about creating something large enough to contain the "leftovers" from her magical spell to extract pain from others, as her current setup was too small to store it all. While he didn't quite know the full extent of what was going on, he created several repositories, including one that Isidora put beneath the school, and kept detailed journals noting each one and their locations.
After Isidora's death, the Keepers realized they couldn't safely destroy the repositories for fear of threatening the whole wizarding world if the corrupted emotional magic was unleashed, so instead sought to safeguard it. As part of this, they obliviated Bragbor's mind so he wouldn't be able to tell anyone about the repositories. However, unbeknownst to the Keepers, they didn't know he wrote about them in his journals. As a result, hundreds of years later, one of Bragbor's descendants, Ranrok, would find some of the journals, learn of the repositories, and claim the corrupted magic as belonging to him and goblinkind.
