Cache in the Castle is a side quest in Hogwarts Legacy. It is received from Arthur Plummly, who is standing outside the Charms Classroom.
Objectives[]
"I saw Arthur Plummly studying two treasure maps he had found. I should see if he needs any help."
- Talk to Arthur Plummly
"The first clue shows a rhinoceros skeleton on display. I know I must have walked by that at least a dozen times. Now if only I could remember where it is."
- Find the first landmark from Arthur's Treasure Map
"It looks as if I'm supposed to find a dragon fountain. The tree in the background makes me think it's in a courtyard. A door behind it has been circled."
- Find the second landmark from Arthur's Treasure Map
"It seems from Arthur's Treasure Map that once I've exited the courtyard, I should look for a stairwell going up.
- Find the third landmark from Arthur's Treasure Map
The final clue shows a painting with a ring at the top. I should search the area. I have a feeling it's nearby.
- Find the painting from Arthur's Treasure Map
"This painting is hiding something. Arthur's Treasure Map suggests a bit of magic may be needed to reveal its secret."
- Discover the painting's secret
"I should let Arthur know that I solved the secret of the treasure map."
- Return to Arthur Plummly
Rewards[]
Conclusion[]
"I followed the clues on Arthur's Treasure Map to a secret door camoflaged as a painting. I opened it with Accio. Hogwarts contains a seemingly infinite supply of surprises and mysteries waiting to be discovered. I hope I uncover more of them during my time here."
