Caligo, also referred to as an Onyx Hippogriff in prerelease marketing, is a purple-black male hippogriff in Hogwarts Legacy. He was an exclusive pre-order bonus for all editions of the game; if the game was pre-purchased, he becomes available as a Flying Mount after completing the main quest The High Keep. He was added to the game for everyone to enjoy in the Summer Update of 2024,
