Dorothy Sprottle is an Upper Hogsfield resident in Hogwarts Legacy.
Biography[]
Dorothy and her husband Aidan lived in Upper Hogsfield for years and, with Aidan being a good friend of Sirona Ryan's father, the couple was happy to let Sirona stay with them during the summers while she worked at The Three Broomsticks. During this period, they also welcomed many of Sirona's school friends to drop by for a visit.
Being a skilled potioneer as well, Dorothy would keep a steady supply of Wiggenweld Potion to hand out as needed to travelers. By 1890 though, this became almost necessary with Ranrok's Loyalists harassing everyone in the area. After she found a box of some of Sirona's old letters from her school days, Aidan offered to take it to Sirona while he made a side trip first to a nearby cave to get Horklump Juice for Dorothy's potion supplies. However, Aidan fell ill and while he made it home, he had dropped the box in the cave. Sadly he passed away a short time later, leaving Dorothy a widow.
That same year, Dorothy became worried about another resident in the area, Bardolph Beaumont, after he was attacked by some of Ranrok's Loyalists and then seeing him hanging out with Ashwinders in the nearby forest afterwards.
