Edgar Adley was a vendor in Aranshire in Hogwarts Legacy.
Biography[]
In 1890, his close friend Milo came to him with an idea to make a lot of money by trying to extract acromantula venom from live acromantulas. However, Milo failed to realize how incredibly dangerous this endeavor was, and thus why the venom was so expensive to begin with. The two were overwhelmed in one of the spider's nests in the Forbidden Forest and Edgar watched as his friend died. Before Milo passed, he asked Edgar to take his heirloom pocket watch to give to his daughter as something to remember him by, but scared for his life, Edgar fled before he could do so.

- During the unrelated quest Tangled Web that involves Aranshire, Edgar, like the rest of the hamlet's inhabitants, will be gone from the area, but his voice lines will continue speaking if you stand near his stall like he's still there and nothing is amiss.
