Elek was a centaur and the herd's leader in Hogwarts Legacy.
Biography[]
Around 1890, Elek was the centaur's leader in the Forbidden Forest and didn't take kindly to wizardkind encroaching into their territory, particularly poachers. He also didn't see eye to eye with one of the elder centaurs, Dorran, going as far as threatening to kill Dorran if he got in Elek's way again as he firmly believed even underage witches and wizards were just helping the poachers.
He later joined Dorran in assisting Poppy and a new fifth-year Hogwarts student in their quest to protect the last Golden Snidgets from being found by the poachers. After seeing firsthand the students fight against their own kind, he accepted that they genuinely weren't working with the poachers and instead trying to help protect magical creatures. Afterwards, Elek, along with the rest of his herd, then took on the task of watching over and protecting the snidgets.
