Grace Pinch-Smedley is a Slytherin student in Hogwarts Legacy.
Biography[]
At one point, her paternal grandparents set out from Hogsmeade Station to go on a quick star-gazing cruise on the Black Lake, but neither the couple nor the boat ever returned to shore and it was presumed they'd drowned. Grace's father, distraught over this loss, then forbade his family from ever setting foot in the lake again.
While attending Hogwarts herself, Grace wanted to see about retrieving an old family heirloom her grandfather had had on him when he died, an astrolabe, to bring her father some peace. However, this left her at an impasse, as she'd have to go against her father's wishes and go into the lake to find it.
