Imelda Reyes is a fifth-year Slytherin student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She attends Defence Against the Dark Arts Class and is a Chaser for her House's Quidditch team.
Biography[]
Imelda grew up in a competitive family, which influenced her to the point that she had little patience for those who did not take things as seriously as she did when it came to putting in the effort. She took a particular interest in flying, with having a grandfather that played for Puddlemere United and her father having been a Chaser for Slytherin.
When she started at Hogwarts, she was sorted into Slytherin and made a pact with another first-year Slytherin, Nerida Roberts, that they would practice flying everyday to get better and one day join their House's Quidditch team, with Imelda in particular hoping to one day join the professional Holyhead Harpies team. However, Nerida lost interest and soon took more interest in learning about merpeople, which Imelda mistook as her friend becoming jealous of her flying skills.
During her fifth year, Headmaster Black cancelled Quidditch for the year due to an accident the previous school year. Imelda tried to get the school's flying instructor, Madam Kogawa, to talk to the headmaster about reinstating Quidditch as this could hurt her chances to join a professional team after graduating, but Black refused to listen to any of his staff. Thus, Imelda turned to organising races throughout the valley to keep her skills up to par and challenge other students.
