The Inferius is one of the enemies encountered in Hogwarts Legacy.
Description[]
Though invulnerable to most types of damage, Inferi cannot abide warmth and light and are therefore susceptible to fire.
After an Inferius has been burned, other damaging attacks will have full effect, providing a few more options to destroy these abominations.
A burning Inferius's impeding attack provides the perfect opportunity to capitalize on the explosive power of Bombarda.

Ancient Magic Farming:
Inferi can also be used to farm ancient magic points. Powerups and boosts to the Ancient Magic meter activate once you string a combo of 10 hits or higher. At 30 combo points, an Inferius will drop 3 ancient magic orbs, quickly filling your meter to full. This is also an easy way to get the 100 combo points achievement, as the Inferius is easy to dodge and will be knocked back after your 4th basic spell.
A single Inferius can be found spawning at the Diricawl nest, where you are asked to catch one for the Bombarda spell.
