Player inventory is divided into 4 sections.

Beasts[]

When the player captures a wild beast with the Nab-sack, they will be stored here. Each animal's profile will display the species, sex, a brief description of the animal, a note indicating that they can be added to Vivariums, located in the Room of Requirements, via the Beast Management Menu, the selling value, at Brood and Peck in Hogsmeade, and the option to release the beast. Releasing the beast cannot be undone.

The beasts can be sorted by newest (when they were captured) or alphabetically. There are 35 slots available.

Quest Items[]

Quest items can be anything the player receives and/or picks up during a quest line. Some items can be maps, Demiguise moons, books, plants, the telescope used at astronomy tables, etc. Depending on the quests, some items are only temporarily in your inventory if the player chooses to return the items to their proper owners. It's up to the player whether the item is returned or not; or returned but for a price.

The items can be sorted by newest (when they were obtained) or alphabetically. There are 36 slots available.

Notes[]

Throughout the world and Hogwarts, the player may chance upon notes scattered around. When approached, the player will be given the ability to pick them up. Notes can be, well notes, or letters, and occasionally books. Using Revelio will highlight notes and other interactive items to the player.

The notes can be sorted by newest (when they were obtained) or alphabetically.

Resources[]

Resources are a combination of plants the player may pick up or grow and magical beast and enemy byproducts. These different ingredients may be used for making potions or using the magical loom, in the Room of Requirements, to add additional benefits to the player's gear. Many of the resources needed to upgrade gear can be bought or obtained through the nurturing of your magical beasts in the Vivariums.

The resources can be sorted by newest (when they were obtained) or alphabetically. There are 36 slots available.
