Nerida Roberts is a fifth-year Slytherin student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
She is a member of the Crossed Wands duelling club.
Biography[]
She began to attend Hogwarts the same year as Imelda Reyes and the two made a pact they'd practice on their brooms everyday in the hopes of getting better and possibly even join their house's quidditch team someday. However, while Imelda continued to practice, Nerida lost interest because she is not as gifted with the broom. She instead turned her attention to merpeople and became highly interested in learning more about them to the point she learned some of their language.
By her fifth year, she decided if goblins and centaurs could have liaisons in the Ministry, then merpeople could as well. She managed to leave a gift for the ones in the Black Lake and they in turn wished to leave her a gift in a cave only accessible by swimming to it. Nerida tried to explain she could not swim and so could not retrieve it that way, but her translation was off so the merpeople did not understand this part. She then tried to figure out a way to get to the gift so as to not potentially offend the merpeople due to her lack of swimming skills.
