Noreen Blainey was Hogwarts' hospital matron in Hogwarts Legacy.
Biography[]
Noreen came from a muggle-born family and was accepted into Hogwarts, where she was sorted into Hufflepuff. Shortly after graduating, she became the school's hospital matron.
Her expertise appeared to be on par with St. Mungo's as, when Anne Sallow was cursed, she was asked if she had any idea how to cure Anne, but sadly neither Noreen nor St. Mungo's were able to assist.
Besides experience, her only other limitations appear to be more urgent time sensitive matters, such as one occasion where a student was suffering from Vanishing Sickness and so ordered them be sent to St. Mungo's straight away. She also had a no-nonsense attitude towards what actually qualified as an injury or not and voiced her obvious displeasure at such when Headmaster Phineas Nigellus Black cancelled quidditch for the 1890 to 1891 school year due to a minor injury last year that involved a pure-blood, going as far as even having Noreen redact nearly all information she had written down about the incident from her patient records.

- Her last name is incorrectly spelled as "Bailey" in the two hospital records one can find in the hospital wing.
