The Room of Requirement is the player's personal home within Hogwarts in Hogwarts Legacy. In the Room of Requirement, players can customize their appearance as well as changing the room's architecture to match their preferences.
The players will also be able to Conjure various objects into the place, both esthetic and functional, including crafting.
The Room of Requirement is unlocked by completing the main story quest The Room of Requirement.
Size[]
As the player continues through the main story, there will be additional quests that increase the size and capabilities of the room, including:
- an expansion adding an entirely new room to the left of the entrance, where a statue once stood, immediately upon completing the decorating quest.
- four expansions to the main room, one each time a Vivarium quest is completed.
- an additional expansion to the side room, after completing the main story line.

Keep in mind there is a Conjuration Budget that indicates the total number of a specific item that can be conjured. For example, only one Beast Toybox can be summoned in each Vivarium.
Vivarium[]

Vivarium is an adjacent room that allows one to house rescued beasts. Up to 4 beast species and 12 beasts can be housed in a single Vivarium. There are four Vivariums to be unlocked.
Identification Station[]
The Identification Station is an item that is found in the Room of Requirement. This allows you to identify Gear and find out what purpose and traits they have in the game.
