San Bakar's Trial is a main quest in Hogwarts Legacy.
Objectives[]
"It's time to share with the Keepers what I've learned about Ranrok and his plans."
- Go to the Map Chamber
"I need to tell the Keepers about Ranrok and the enormous repository of magic that he's planning to break into."
- Speak with Professor Fig
"Professor Fig will meet me at the location of the final Pensieve as revealed by Professor Bakar. According to the Field Guide, it's beyond the Shoreline Mine to the south."
- Meet Professor Fig at Sank Bakar's Pensieve chamber
"We found the location of Professor Bakar's Pensieve chamber. There must be a clue hidden here."
- Find the clue to open the Pensieve chamber
"I should speak to Professor Fig and see if he has any ideas on how to open the chamber."
- Speak with Professor Fig
"The Graphorn know as 'Lord of the Shore' is said to have a den to the south along the water. I should search in that direction."
- Search for the Lord of the Shore
"I've found what looks to be the den of the Graphorn. I should be careful. I don't want to end up as his next meal."
- Enter the Graphorn's den
"What a magnificent yet terrifying beast! I'm going to need to throw everything I've got at it in hopes of wearing it down before it can kill me."
- Subdue the Lord of the Shore
"I've done it! I've tamed the Graphorn! What a glorious beast. Now I need to bring it to the entrance of the Pensieve chamber. Hopefully the Graphorn will know what to do."
- Return with the Graphorn to the Pensieve chamber
"There is a rune on the floor in front of the entrance to the chamber. I should try to position the Graphorn on it and see what happens."
- Use the Graphorn to unlock the chamber
"This is it, the final Pensieve! I need to view Professor Bakar's memory and learn what he has to show me."
- Witness the Pensieve memory
"There is another magical passageway here. It appears it will take me directly back to the Map Chamber below Hogwarts."
- Use the magical passageway
"Now that I've arrived back in the Map Chamber, I need to speak with the Keepers and tell them what I learned."

Conclusion[]
"I met Fig at the location revealed to us by Professor Bakar's portrait. We deduced that only a Graphorn could open the passage to the Pensieve chamber. I found a Graphorn called the 'Lord of the Shore' and tamed the terrifying beast. I rode it to the chamber and its presence unlocked the door. Inside, San Bakar's Pensieve memory revealed the terrible truth: Isidora was experimenting on Hogwarts students. The Keepers confronted her and the resulting battle killed her. I returned to the Map Chamber and the Keepers said I have the materials to build a unique wand that will open the final repository. I am to ask Mr Ollivander to construct the wand. Is this the beginning of the end?"
Rewards[]
- Graphorns can be ridden as a land mount.
- Beasts inventory capacity is increased by 10 slots.
Notes[]
- To find the clue, cast Confringo on the vines on the wall.
- The Lord of the Shore has a two-part health bar. When the first half is depleted he enters an enraged state.
- When his health is reduced to zero, he charges and you are given two choices: Kneel or Attack. The first option tames him by showing respect, the second tames him by force.
- After this quest, Graphorns can be kept in a Vivarium. Graphorns will spawn in the same den, but never more than one at a time. To tame them, they must be fought to weaken them before using the Nab-Sack.
