Scrope's Last Hope is a main quest in Hogwarts Legacy. It is only received if the player is in Slytherin. After completing both Potions Class and Trials of Merlin, you receive a message from a house-elf named Scrope.

"There's a small cottage with a pumpkin patch on the way to Lower Hogsfield. I'm certain it's the place Scrope is referring to in his note."

"Scrope's note says to meet him at the water's edge near the broken docks."
- Meet Scrope at the water's edge
"Scrope says the grotto is just down the shore. Hopefully the missing pages are somewhere inside."

"I met the ghost of Richard Jackdaw. He told me where to find the missing pages, and that the ring Scrope wants is gone forever. Now to break the news to the poor fellow."

"A house-elf named Scrope contacted me about the missing pages. He recalls his previous mistress Apollonia Black speaking of pages being ripped from a book. He thinks she took them to her private grotto and believes a family ring will be found inside. I also met the ghost of Richard Jackdaw. He told me that when he was alive, he tried to impress Apollonia Black by stealing a secret map from [[Peeves] for her, but she didn't care. He decided that if Apollonia wasn't imterested in the map, perhaps it would lead him to something that would intrigue her. So, he followed the map to his demise. Jackdaw has promised to meet me at the edge of the Forbidden Forest and show me where he died. The pages should still be with his remains."
Notes[]
- Apollonia Black's Journal is lying on a table in the grotto. Picking it up triggers the arrival of Richard Jackdaw's ghost.
- The Map with Floating Candles can be found in a chest in the grotto. Obtaining it triggers the side quest Ghost of Our Love.
