Spells are one of the key features in Hogwarts Legacy. Spells are cast by pressing certain keys or buttons; Essential spells are pre-assigned to specific keys/buttons, while other spells must be manually assigned to custom slots.
Initially there is only one Spell Set of four custom slots, requiring frequent reassignment to access needed spells. After completing Jackdaw's Rest, up to three more Spell Sets can be added by unlocking the core talents Spell Knowledge I, II, and III.
