The Helm of Urtkot is a main quest in Hogwarts Legacy.
Objectives[]
"I need to travel to Hogsmeade. I should be able to find Sirona inside the Three Broomsticks."
- Speak to Sirona in the Three Broomsticks
"Sirona said that the goblin I'm looking for is named Lodgok – he's known to frequent the Hog's Head Inn. Sirona personally vouched for him and told me to tell Lodgok that she sent me."
- Look for Lodgok at the Hog Head's Inn
"Lodgok asked me to meet him on the outskirts of Hogsmeade. From there he will show me the way to the witch's tomb."
- Meet Lodgok near the witch's tomb
"Lodgok knows the way to the witch's tomb – I need to follow him to the entrance."
- Follow Lodgok to the tomb's entrance
"According to rumour, the Helmet of Urtkot should be in the sarcophagus of the deceased witch. Hopefully it's not guarded by something horrible – seems like every time I walk into a cave there is something ghastly waiting inside."
- Search the tomb for the helmet
"Unfortunately it looks like Ashwinders got to the tomb before I did and made off with the relic. I need to get back to Lodgok and let him know the helmet is gone."
- Return to Lodgok
"From evidence in the tomb, the relic was stolen by Ashwinders. They are known to have an encampment nearby in the Forbidden Forest. I need to find it and get the helmet from them."
- Recover the helmet from thieves
"I managed to retrieve the Helmet of Urtkot from the Ashwinders. Now I need to bring it to Lodgok at the entrance of the witch's tomb."
- Return the helmet to Lodgok
Conclusion[]
"After I managed to track down the goblin named Lodgok in the Hog's Head Inn, he told me that he wants to retrieve a sacred goblin relic stolen years ago by a witch. Rumour had it that the relic was in the witch's tomb. Unfortunately for Lodgok, the tomb is only accessible by wizardkind. Lodgok believed that retrieving the relic could repair the rift between himself and Ranrok. I searched the witch's tomb, but the helmet wasn't there – Ashwinders took it. Lodgok knew of an Ashwinder camp nearby, so I went there and retrieved the helmet, then returned it to Lodgok, who was very grateful. Now it's up to him to see what (sic) if he can calm Ranrok's ire."
Notes[]
- One chamber of The Collector's Cave contains 5 Inferi, and another contains 9 Inferi.
- Damaged doors in the tomb can be opened with Accio or Depulso.
- The tomb contains a number of moth door and spinner puzzles similar to the empty-frame puzzles in Hogwarts, but the moths are on ornate metal pedestals, making them easy to find.
- Moth spinners require one moth to activate them, after which they can be hit with Depulso to to raise nearby elevator platforms. Two or three hits will keep the platform fully raised for a few seconds.
- The first two puzzle doors are straightforward: simply find the three moths and use Lumos to lure them to the door.
- The chest behind the second door after defeating Inferi can be accessed directly by climbing up the cage.
- For the third door, one moth must be used to activate a spinner and raise an elevator platform to reach a third moth in a high alcove. After the third moth is retrieved, the moth on the spinner can be transferred to the door.
- After passing the third door, go right and there will be a chest. To cross the bridge, destroy the pile of skeletons and use Accio to pull the bone fragments to the bridge.
- The fourth door is on an upper level. One moth is on a small elevator platform, another in an alcove, and two more on the upper level.
- The moth in the alcove must be used on the spinner and a large elevator platform used to reach the upper level.
- It may be necessary to hit the spinner from above a few times to reach two of the moths and get them to the door.
